In today’s fast-paced world, it is very easy to lose focus on the things that matter. As humans, we are super excited to try out different things at the same time.

While it is nice to keep your options open and try your hands at different things, it is very important that you stay focused on your end goal.

Recently, a youngster asked me this question “I want to do a lot of things, but I am not able to get anything done. What should I do?”

This is a problem most of us experience in our day-to-day life. We get distracted very easily and leave things half way and start focusing on the next new thing we hear about. But here is the deal – if you want to do something substantial and worthwhile, you need to give your passion time and complete focus.

Like they say – ‘Rome was not built in one day!’. Don’t expect things to magically fall in place in the first shot. You will slowly realize that when you do not give your task the required gestation period, you will start feeling like a failure and will want to switch and try your hands at something new.

Success doesn’t work that way. It takes time and hard work and also a whole bunch of failed attempts to get to what you want. In this video, I share an easy but powerful tip to help you multitask and get things done.

Don’t clutter your mind with too many things. When your mind is set on one goal, immerse yourself into that one task. Your whole body, mind and soul must breathe that idea.

Detach yourself from the million other things that run on your mind and focus on just one task at a time. Tell yourself that you will NOT think of anything else until you finish what is in hand.

Be fearless and take risks! Experiment the heck out of your idea, but remember that all the things you do should lead towards a common goal.
