We all at some point in life have wanted to pack our bags and just set out on a vacation. But those travel plans always get pushed to a later date because of busy work schedules and sometimes financial commitments.
Here is the thing – you don’t always need exotic vacations to de-stress. A simple drive to your hometown or a short weekend trip (either alone or with friends) can do the trick!
Travel is said to refresh your brain cells and induce happy positive thoughts in your mind. This helps you think of your life purpose and also your passions.
Recently, Vishwas Mudagal shared how travel helps him unveil great ideas for his books and business ventures
“I was on a long drive this weekend, it definitely relaxed my mind & soul, and a thought crossed my mind. Many people ask me what is secret to coming up with successful ideas for my businesses or innovative plots for my books. While there is no concrete response to this, I am very convinced about one thing–that traveling to new places is key to opening up the window of your mind. You discover or re-discover yourself only through travel, and unplanned travel is the most exhilarating experience. Especially for those who are tired, feeling lost, or depressed, travel acts like a detox and cures you of all the tensions and miseries of life. It gives you an opportunity to rekindle your potential, fills you with positive energy and relaxes your soul. I truly believe that not all those who wander are lost. But for the ones who are lost, wandering is the only way to find themselves.”
